Wine and Food Festival Set for Sunday

More than 80 wineries and 90 area caterers, restaurants and food companies will offer their food and drink at the Casa Pacifica Angels Wine and Food Festival in Camarillo this Sunday.

Tickets for the event, scheduled for 1-5 p.m. on the CSU Channel Islands campus, cost $90 in advance and $100 at the door. Festival organizers are also offering $200 VIP tickets that afford holders early entry, access to the lounge at the Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village and parking.

This year Roadrunner Shuttle & Limousine Service will extend its Safe Ride program to those who wish to have shuttle service from their homes as well as from hotels and train stations from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara for $15 per person.

The fundraising event benefits Camarillo’s Casa Pacifica, a crisis care facility that provides assessment, crisis care, and educational and medical services for at risk, abused and neglected children. Almost 4000 people attended last year’s event, which raised more than $200,000 for the treatment center through a silent auction of gift baskets featuring gift certificates, gourmet foods, wines and more.
